FODMAP is an acronym

Fermentable Oligo-saccharides Di-saccharides Mono-saccharides And Polyols, it is a term used by Monash University researchers to describe a group of sugars that are often not well absorbed by the small intestine.

When poorly absorbed these sugars may cause IBS and other gut and bowel discomfort.

Recipes on these pages are suitable for people who are diabetic, gluten and lactose intolerant and  follow a low fodmap diet.

There is an emphasis on the use of fresh organically grown fruit and vegetables, free range organic meats and wild caught fresh fish and seafood.

Sautéed Carrots and rainbow chard as a side dish.
